Eng. Kazawadi Papias Dedeki

Founder, Strategic Advisor & Visionary Leader – Tasks Africa


Eng. Kazawadi Papias Dedeki is a renowned Pan-African engineering leader, construction entrepreneur, and ethical infrastructure advocate with over 25 years of experience building systems, institutions, and sustainable solutions across Africa.


As the Immediate Past President of the Federation of African Engineering Organizations(FAEO), and former Chairman of the World Federation of Engineering Organizations (WFEO) Committee on Anti-Corruption, he has played a pivotal role in shaping the future of engineering ethics, professional standards, and policy alignment with Africa’s Agenda 2063.


From founding and running a successful construction company (1996–2020), to guiding national reforms through roles in the Institution of Engineers Rwanda and the Rwanda Association of Building and Civil Works Contractors, his leadership blends business insight with technical and policy acumen.


Eng. Kazawadi is a certified Project Manager, Mediator, and Arbitrator, offering strategic guidance and dispute resolution services across the built environment. His leadership philosophy is grounded in original frameworks such as HAIR (Helicopter View, Analysis, Imagination, Reality) and STEIC (Social Responsibility, Transparency, Ethical Standards, Integrity, Collaboration)—which underpin Tasks Africa’s mission to promote homegrown solutions, compliance, innovation, and collaboration in infrastructure development.


At Tasks Africa, he continues to work across government, industry, and academia to accelerate sustainable engineering practices, enhance regulatory frameworks, and inspire a new generation of ethical, competent African professionals.
